In the beginning of the month you received an e-mail announcing plans
for the 45th reunion of the class of ’62 – and some of you
understandably wondered why it was sent to you. Yes, it is our 45th
reunion year, but we want to expand the celebration to a multiclass
John Jay reunion and not emphasize any one class. The majority of the
alumni registered on the jjhs website graduated in the late 50’s and
early to mid 60’s. We all knew each other back then, or at least had
connections through friends or siblings. We would love to see all of
our old friends from those great years at John Jay, so our class has
planned an event to give all of us an opportunity to get together once
again. The specifics for this multiclass celebration are as follows:

side dishes, coffees, herbal teas, and deserts.
If you know you definitely want to join us, call the Arrowood and make
your room reservation, and send a check for the dinner(s) made out
to “BH Travel Service”, and send it to:
Fred Hoerauf
121 Tomahawk Street
Yorktown Heights, NY 10598
Finally, if you are definitely coming, or you think you are interested
in joining us, please send me a reply providing me with 1) the names of
those likely to attend, 2) your year of graduation, 3) which nights
you'll probably be attending, and 4) if you would like to participate
in the golf or tennis.
Any questions please don't hesitate to send them to me – and, if you
are in contact with any of our old friends from JJ, please forward this
e-mail to them and encourage them to come 'see you in September'.
Hope you'll be there to help make this a great JJ alumni event,
Doug Bartel '62
